Wow Newhaul, you just blew my mind. To learn there is "beer" that's worse than Coors Light is truly incredible. But I thank you, b/c I'm about to head over to Washington state. You saved me a few bucks and a spew on the ground since I like to buy local beer. Olympia is now off the list!

What size container do you use to be able to empty every 3 months?

Do you have an air pump on it like the commercial ones?

I'm curious what happens to the newly deposited waste compared to the more decomposed, I would think that it would still smell crappy when cleaning out due to the discharge from the most recent couple of days.

I just cleaned the toilet the other day... I'm not say that what I do is right, it's just what I do.

I empty the poo bucket into a 3 gal black bucket with a screen vented Gamma Seal screw lid that I store in a cockpit locker. I believe the screen is important to avoid a fly infestation. I stir in 3 or 4 toilet buckets into the secondary compost bucket before emptying the secondary container's dirt onto a flowerbed. So, the freshest poo that goes on the ground is a few months old.

I store the urine in an airtight 2 gal liquid laundry detergent container jug for a few days before hauling it to shore. I pour the approx 3:1 diluted urine in an out of the way place under bushes or trees.

How big is your poo bucket and how often do you change it out on average?
Is it just a single use poo bucket?

Do you need to do anything to encourage air-ation while it ages in the black bucket?

I'm finding I'm poo obsessed, my wife just seriously said she thinks a human litter box is the best approach.
