Gemini 105 is the earlier ones,

105MC started about 97, I think, ??????????????????

After 2002, A lot of the weight was ripped out of it, after the Gemini Owners took one across the Atlantic to England,

I love Mine, 105MC

How'd you get a Gemini to OZ? Surely the experts on CF I've seen are right that there is no way that a Gemini could cross the pacific...

It Island Hopped across the Pacific,

There are lots of Yacht stops, Like Macca's, their everywhere,

But the Experts were right, It did end up Wrecked on a Rocky Beach,

But an Australian Beach, Funny about that,

Re: Gemini catamarans

A couple recently circumnavigated in an 105Mc (Slapdash). It may still be for sale.

The 105Mc is basically the same design as the 105M, but with very significant changes -- importantly (for me, at least) the placement of the helm more to starboard. Interior has more surface space borrowed from the settee seating (good tradeoff) and the bigger fridge is a plus, too. There are other changes, but I can't think of them right now. Our favorite option is the stern "hammock" seat -- adds seating for 4 out of the way of sailing tasks, plus it's my favorite spot to hang out at anchor.

The 105M is quite a bit different from the older 3400, 3200, 3000, although the sailplan, rudders, swing keels, and basic hull shape is similar. Some have outboards instead of the Westerbeke.

The new Gemini Legacy, on the other hand, is a whole different animal.

Re: Gemini catamarans

That Hammock is some thing else isnt it, I love mine,

I spent most of my time laying or sleeping on it,

Mine has a fold back cover made for it, So you can block the sun, from the Bimini right back over the Hammock and half the Panels on out the back,

It stays level and flat even in the worst weather, The Cockpit is the same,

Just stay out of the Dunny, Thats Suicidal in bad weather, Hahahahaha

Levitate 6 inches off the Bed, Its a good mattress, No Ouch,

Not once, Ever, Did I feel unsafe in My Gemini 105MC, Fiji to OZ, then down the Tasman,

When it is finally repaired, I will happily sail it to the Kimberlys,

The best part is working on the motor in front of the Hammock, You have to stand on your head and hang down into the hole,

But its not leaping all over the place while your working on it,

You can slip out under the hammock, If your thin, You cant swim at 5 knots,

And if they get a hole in them under the water line, They will sink,

Totally, I have no idea, Not about to find out either,
