For Southern Ontario sailors ...
If you are a Lake Ontario sailor interested in going beyond the lake this may be of interest. Next Wednesday at 7:30 pm I will be leading a discussion on options for sailing beyond LO. It will consider a variety of possibilities including:
  • North Channel
  • Atlantic Canada with return via NYC and the Hudson
  • Lake Champlain and canals
  • Bermuda
  • ICW and Bahamas
  • Eastern Caribbean
  • RTW

I have experience will all of these except the ICW which we have managed to avoid so far. Presentation will be at the Whitby Yacht Club and it is free.

Have taken on the restoration of the first Nonsuch, which was launched in 1978. Needs some deck work, hull compounding, and a bit of new gear.
