Just because the department has about 8000 computers does not mean that they lurk, lol

Maybe some one in the department is a sailor and has brought it to the attention of management, or maybe some one had already been in contact with the department .... or contacted the ministers office.

The fact is that it would be bad public policy for some one to try and use the department and the imigration laws to gain a finincial advantage. Boatman will find that he finds friends in strange places while in Oz.

But i dont think that the Wicked Witch of the West will end up with the ruby slipers

As my Gran would say... 'There's nowt so strange as life...'
Mind I'm not surprised.. CF has popped up in Panama Nuku Hiva, Samoa and Vanuatu... usually in bars but a couple of times in local authority.. why should OZ be different.
Anyway... got to get it yet.. one call does not a resident make.. or guarantee a work visa...

Actually she said 'Nowt so strange as folk'... but I was feeling poetic so I gave myself licence... RODL..

I find my poetic license good for free drinks and tokes in most bars and private gardens. And, on behalf of those of us who like you in spite of your bad personality and vices, and those of us who like you because of them, I'd like to give a cheer for Wotname! Hip Hip Hooray friend. Your providing Phil with safe anchorage in this storm is a noble deed and the wheel of karma will reward you.

Boats, it seems like things are moving along! glad to hear it.

Since your former employer uses CF, I wonder what they are thinking about all of this.

WotName, if you ever need a place to crash in the U.S., you certainly have earned it and we'll leave the light on for ya and a tinny or two in the reefer!

Boatman - I live in Perth and have this yacht firmly etched into my memory. When I find it, do you want anything in particular done to it ? Get my meaning ?

Re: Don't Pay The Ferryman...

Now now, the boat brought Boatman safely to Aus...There are no bad boats, only bad boat owners.....

Of course Phil might feel differently about this particular boat.
