Ahoy! I was just looking for a few good marina and/or harbor webcams so I can watch boats bob around and move about during my down time at work. You know, another sailing tab to add to my browser! When work gets stressful or boring just click the "Vacation Tab" and stare at somebody anchoring in a beautiful harbor or throwing their lines off at the dock... Then sigh and make another sales call to pay for that sailing fund...

I have had a hard time finding working links. Here is a webcam I found for Gulfport Harbor in Mississippi:

It can be interesting. I used to watch the boats in the marina at Shilshole Bay in WA state during a blow. It is interesting how some boats roll in the protected marina. One boat in particular, a Saga 43 (Bob Perry design) was in the middle of a long dock, and the mast would often swing wildly back and forth. Never did figure out what the deal was with that. The boat? The particular slip? I love most of Perry's boats but not sure I would buy that design just out of caution! I think it is a special purpose design and narrower than most.

Here's a bunch in New South Wales. They are mostly of barred entrances rather than marinas, but can offer some interesting scenes, especially in "interesting" wx!

My boat is in San Diego, California and I live in Phoenix, about 300 miles east, so I'm always checking out this live streaming web cam: San Diego Web Cam of San Diego Bay. You can even watch 6 views simultaneously. Pretty cool
