Disabled sailor back on the water needs best advise

I recently purchased a small 26ft Bristol. I will be sailing/motoring down intercoastal from north Carolina to somewhere near Savannah Georgia. I need best advise where to find good encourages along the way. And when I arive.i could not find me a crew to help so it will be a interesting solo run first in a long time.
