disabled sailing

Over the last ten years or so when I went Ill the one thing that's kept me going is to sail single handed, first across to the states and then to do a single handed nonstop unassisted circumnavigation.
ive sailed across the pond since , with two men and then with one other.
Both times, great fun, hard work, but what I expected, arthritis is now creeping up ive had a foot of my stomach removed , both thumb joints replaced, some toes screwed flat, and found out thanks to taking statins type two diabetes and thiorid problems. see what I mean about I,ll so next year im off across to the states I hope because if I put it off to long I,ll be pushing up the daises. so if you see LIBBY and myself a fat old soand so with a motor sailor come and say hello, regards to all tony

Re: disabled sailing

If ever in California check out Challenged America or BAADS.
Both are adaptive sailing programs, very fun.
