Yes it does, and is cheap and available. For anyone that doesn't believe it spill a little fuel on the water, then get your Dawn and squirt it on the fuel sheen, it disappears.
Its dispersed actually, and only the Government I guess is allowed to use dispersant, but many years ago at the fuel dock it was the answer for spills, not anymore though so don't try it.

Dawn I believe actually emulsifys the oil, that is makes it mix with water and it won't be caught in an oil water seperator anymore, reason we had to stop using it on Military wash racks 20 years or so ago, but it does clean oil great for an off the shelf product that won't hurt your paint etc

Re: Diesel Fuel Odor in the Cabin

We were buying our Smells Begone online then found that our the local True Value stocked it.

I did a search for Smells Begone True Value and came up pretty empty except for this quote from the Chicago Tribune in an article about cleaning refrigerators:

Quote:
GE recommends Smells BeGone spray from Punati Chemical Corp., which can be purchased at some Bed Bath and Beyond stores as well as some Ace and True Value hardware stores.

I second for tuf enuf, that is liquid gold for anything bilge related. And it uses oranges and enzymes to eat grease and grim. Now your boat will smell like a orange grove!
