DERELICT VESSEL
REMOVAL GRANT OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT
The
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is currently announcing the opportunity to apply for Derelict Vessel
Removal Grants. The application period for the Bulk Derelict Vessel Removal Grant Program will begin on September 12, 2016, and end at the close of business on October 27, 2016. Applications received before September 12th or after close of business on October 27, 2016 at 5:00pm (EST), will not be eligible for consideration. Applications that meet the requirements for the Rapid Removal Grant Program may be submitted at any time after the opportunity announcement start date, but no later than May 15, 2017 at 5:00pm (EST) (based on available funding). Total
funding allocated for derelict vessel removal for fiscal year 2016-2017 is $1,400,000. An initial amount of $1,200,000 will be allotted for the Bulk Derelict Vessel Removal Grant Program and $200,000 will be allotted for the Rapid Removal Grant Program. Applications may be mailed to the
