Cruising USA waters

If you buy an American built boat it stays American no matter the flag.. it can come and go at will.. contrary to the owners.
As stated by US C&I Moorehead City, NC in 2005 regarding my Hunter 37.. UK flagged.
The Cruising Permit is for you.. not the boat

Thanks heaps for your input everyone. I have sent an email to CBP and the Homeland security but will clarify my plan with the USCG. Cheers Dave
