I have to add John ka4wja for

HF antennas and RF

He really schooled me on my post here..... http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...y-76912-3.html

I felt a bit sheepest not knowing why I had the loudest signal, short hop to San Diego from the Sea of Cortez while I was hanging on the hook and gave credit to my home made inverted vee trapped dipole. Learn something everyday from the knowledgeable folks here on CF. I love this place.

Another knowledgable member as far as SSB/Ham communications would be Paul Elliott, who has served as the comm boat for the last few Pacific Cups (SF to Hawaii).
