Can we bring computers to the Bahamas kids?

After sailing for 4 months in the Bahamas, we heard about the need for more computers in the schools there.

I wonder if we cruisers could perhaps provide a service to the schools lacking computers by bringing some recycled or donated computers to them. No shipping costs if we bring them on our boats.

Is this a dumb idea? We throw away so much in the States. Perhaps we could coordinate a cool program like this.

Let me know your thoughts. If there is interest, I might ask the Education Ministry if they would be open to something like this.
