Cabin Window Slider Replacement

We have a 25 year Cape Dory Trawler. All of the cabin windows stick and slide with great effort.The window tract has a slider which is probably nylon which separates it from the frame. It has worn down and needs to be replaced.
The windows and frames are in decent shape.
Any ideas?

Hard to tell from the blackness of it whether it is plastic or like the RV track I've seen around. Can you dig the tracks out?

it is not an unusual piece of material that the window slides on- perhaps it is like an RV window track.

I'm going to remove a window from the inside to see if it is easily removed.

thanks for the tip. Looked at JC Whitney and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. What would you call it- its not weatherstrip although I will likely replace that also

Go to a window (glass) shop that repairs or mfr windows. Take a photo or drawing with measurements with you, they should be able to match unless you are in some very isolated bay!!

It's called window track I think.

Please post your experience on removing the windows and what you've found to restore the sliding capability. I'm having to address the same problem with my boat, a 1988 Wilbur 34.
