After the flood

Hi All, Help appreciated, we recently had the water cooling hose come off our engine and fill the boat with water. The drainage holes that lead to the bilge pump where blocked (bits of tissue and boat building left overs) and thus the engine space filled up with water. The sound insulation foam thus got wet. since the deluge we seem to have a slow but constant puddle forming in the bottom of the boat, tastes of fresh water. After searching for the mystery leak we are wondering if this could be the foam still dripping. Its been a week now. Any suggestions as to other things it could be and how to dry this foam?
