Re: Yacht prices in Australia, are they plummeting ?

what size yacht are you after next ,? I'm hoping to get 45/7 ft Beneteau the price,s state side are unreal, especially when you see what extras you can get, and with electronics at half price you'd be made not to update whilst there .
regards john

Re: Yacht prices in Australia, are they plummeting ?

I have been watching a section of the ozzie market (35-40 ft monohulls, 5-10 years old) for over a year now and while there may be bit ofa softening in the market I certainly NOT consider it a big drop. In fact some prices seem to have even gone up considering what they were offering.
But the Australian market must be the most overpriced in the world with asking prices as much as double that in the Mediterranean or Asian markets.
There are some fantastic bargains in Greece and Spain at the moment. They must be really hurting in the eurozone. Checkout yachtworld.
