Any suggestions for getting a wood (but fully glassed) 54' converted shrimpboat insured? The vessel was has been stripped of fishing gear
, remodeled, rewired, ect and will be used as a mothership for kayak
trips in coastal Georgia
. We only need it for the boat, the customers are taken care of. So far the companies basically hang up as soon as we say wood, nevermind she's glassed and popcorn dry. How do these guys get 100 year old wood boats insured but we can't even get consideration????
