Where David sails is beautifully scenic, well placed for France, not too far from Spain AND you have to be one hell of a sailor. With 36 foot tides, 5 knot and more races and overfalls and a myriad of rocks lurking, just waiting for the moment your attention wanders, you really need to know what you're doing, but I'm sure David's too modest to tell you that. |

$700/month goes into the 'boat account'. One way or another it always empties out (slip fees, maint, upgrades...). The big fixed things are $2600 for summer slip. $3500 for winter haul-out (every third year) and yard storage. $250 for winter in-water (two out of three years). |
