Tropical Yachts (Fl based) reviews

I'm considering chartering a monohull (bareboat) in the Caribbean from Florida-based Tropical Yachts ( dub dub dub / tropicalyachts.com), but can't find any independent review on that company.
Has anyone chartered from them before? Any comment on whether you liked or not?

I believe they are brand new (@ least in the Abacos)

Had a couple boats based at the Marsh Harbour Marina/Jib Room so Tom or Linda may be able to give you some insight.

I just checked out their website. In the included and optional equipment lists I saw nothing about a dinghy. You NEED a dinghy! Before chartering from them I would make absolutely certain that one is provided.

Actually I did check their website and it mentions the dinghy. Guadeloupe Boat Rental Harmony 38 Monohull, Debussy, From $2040/week 3 cabins/1 head sleeps 6/8

Interesting. It appears that for some boats they mention a dinghy, and for others they do not. I wonder if that means that for some boats a dinghy is available, and for others one is not. In any case, you need to be certain that you have one.

Did you end up using Tropical Charters, or at least get any additional feedback about them? Would love to hear. We are planning a trip in the spring, and are thinking about using them out of Key West or Miami.

I am new to this forum, actually joined just to post on this thread. We (my husband, son, father and his wife) are seriously considering going through Tropical Yachts for a sailing trip to Belize in the spring. I'm having a tough time finding online reviews of the company, though. Anyone here have thoughts/opinions about them?
