Time to buy

I'm living in Florida now and am wondering if there is a particularly good time of year to buy? Are there better deals during hurricane season? During the winter?

Some people may be more anxious to sell with hurricane season coming, but then again summer is also the best time for boating, everywhere. I'd say that in general Florida has less of a 'season' than most places up north. Probably the best thing is to buy when YOU are ready and find the boat that you like.

I'd think the florida foreclosure season we're in now ought to ferret out some super deals.

More like foreclosure year. I imagine I couldn't afford the "boats as mortgage" forclosures but maybe someone will be pressured to sell a toy. A real sad shame for those folks but you're right...the best deals are probably now.
