I can't recommend anybody in that area.. my experience with surveyors is pretty limited. However, I might suggest you contact a/your boat insurance
I learned the hard way that even if you have the boat surveyed, if you don't have it surveyed by the _right_ person, an insurance
company may not accept the survey
when you try to get insurance.
So, for what it's worth, if you call an insurance company (BoatUS is probably the biggest) and ask them for an approved list of surveyors, they'll email
you one with a few names.
Since there is no national certification
on surveyors, this might be the best route
for an independant list?
