Registered Marine Liability Insurance for Mexico ?

We've been looking into liability insurance for our boat before we enter Mexico (within 2 weeks!) - So many options online, not sure how to check if they're registered and reputable - Does anyone have a good recommendation? Wondering if the fact that we have a wooden boat will affect things? (It's sheathed, so really a composite now.)

Thanks for any info!
Cheers
Kyra

Zeehag has info on this as she did it earlier in the year. Could be worthwhile sending her a PM.
