Progressive Insurance Submission info request

Hi, y'all,

I know that many here are insured by Progressive.

We're considering them but nothing we see in the online application addresses a boat.

For those insured with them, how did you go about your application, and, if applicable, do you have a recommended source or link to point us to?

We expect to do liability only, but if the difference is slight with a high deductible, might do dink and other stuff.

Thanks, as always.

I have two boats insured by Progressive. We were told this past spring by a Progressive clerk at their home office when we were doing some renewals that Progressive would no longer be insuring boats over 35 feet (or was it 30 feet???) In our case, we would be grandfathered but they would no longer be issuing policies for new customers with over sized boats. You may want to call them on the phone and verify this as my memory may be incorrect. Also, this change may have something to do with where the boat is home ported. Lots of insurance companies are fleeing the Gulf Coast and it may not apply country-wide. Good luck.

My policy was written by the agent who writes my business insurance. I was trying to get an antique motorcycle covered with another agent, then online and was only successful when I called them directly. It may be possible that the online system used by individuals and agents does not list all available policies. You should call progressive directly.

we had progressive on the c30, was super cheap, but they dont offer policy's on boats over 30 so we had to get a different co when we got the bigger boat.
