Missed The Boat

With the drop in fuel prices, the increses in jobs and the general up-swing of the economy. I'm thinking that those that have been waiting around for "Great Deal" on a boat have kinda Missed out on their chances..

I've seen a few boats go up for sale and sell in a short time, and at the store, we're seeing more people buying equeptment for new purchase of boats.

Re: Missed The Boat

It's typically only a Buyers Market when the economy is tanking. We've seen positive growth for several quarters now. The Dow 5 yr trend starts at 10K and ends at 15K with a fairly steady uphill climb over that time period. Fuel costs at an 8 yr low. I would expect to see real estate and luxury goods like boats bouncing back, if they haven't already.

Re: Missed The Boat

Yeah, I've noticed that some things that were amazing bargains a couple years back are not now... in fact there seem to be even fewer for sale...
