All boats need work! A good survey
will hopefully tell you how much work it needs! If it's in the water
, and still floating, that's always a good sign. Check under the floorboards, of course, for water in the bilges: lift
them when you arrive, and check a few hours later. The head's bound to need a rebuild
- there'll be barnacles
in there somewhere.Gas lines will need checking, of course. But look, that's all stuff you'd have to do anyway!
It sounds to me like you could be getting a very good boat at a good price
. Good luck, let us know what happens.
