Question Is this a Seller's Market ?

I've read the good reputation of CR38 but does this price make any sense?

Cabo Rico 38' XL MKII Sail - $299,995 (St. Augustine) - $299,995 (St. Augustine)

more info about this boat: Cabo Rico 38' XL MKII Sail - $299995 (St. Augustine)

Seems high to me just based on YW listings. Currently, the highest is a 1998 in FL for $230K.

Strange that with such a high price its on CraigsList and not with a broker.

There are plenty of wacky asking prices on craigslist. It's free to list so I guess the sellers don't do any research before they post the asking price.

But this is definitely NOT a seller's market. On the US east coast at least.

Somebody hoping to lure in a sucker who doesn't know the real value of the boat. That's all. If it works, more power to him. If it doesn't, and he really wants to sell, then he'll have to bring the price back down to Earth.
