Re: Is there really a buyer's shortage?

We spent the past 3 years looking for a boat and just purchased. We took full advantage of the soft market. While I do not think there is a shortage, many boats were on the market for the entire time we were looking. The asking prices do not reflect the economic conditions but the selling price sure does. The good deals are snapped up quickly. If you are in the market, be prepared to buy fast - cash will also get you a better price.
