Forgive me, if this sounds stupid, but why do you need "live aboard" insurance
? What is the difference? If the boat sinks, catches fire, or is damaged and the insurance
company pays, what is the difference? Our insurance was $4500 for a year. A bit expensive in my book but Will cover a complete loss. We have a 60' Chris Craft. We are not currently living aboard
but will be in the next couple of months. Having some work done right now. Custom interior
work and new satellite
system for TV, Internet
, phones and such while out at sea. All of this is rather expensive and we will be increasing our insurance to cover this. Am I missing something? do I need live aboard insurance?
