Insurance Costs by Percentage of Boat Value

I wonder what percent of boat value most are paying for insurance?
2-5% appears normal for extended cruisers, local coastal much cheaper can anyone give some real life percentages?

% boat value doesn't work. My current boat is valued at 190% of my last boat, yet my insurance is about 75% of my last one. And thuis is the same company.

I pay 3% in a prime hurricane area. Should be cheaper if you are not in a hurricane zone. If you boat insured value is low, it will be much more.
