How to Part out a boat

I have a 1979 Seidelmann S25 that I am probably going to part out. Can anybody give me their experiences, including a guide to pricing things.

I worked long and hard for my experiences, I can't just give them away.

But as a thumbrule, the value is in the items that most boats are built without. Such as windlass, davits, charging equipment, dodgers, biminis, etc. You may get half the price of new on that stuff, pennies on the dollar for the rest, such as hardware, old lines, fittings, etc.
