Experience With Boat Partnerships

OK... so now we have owned this beautiful 47' performance Catamaran for exactly 1 (one) year and we now understand that we will only be able to use it at the very most 4 months out of the year. Financially we can easily carry this load but it really seems unfair to the boat and unnecessary. Does anyone out there have successful experience with boat partnerships? Finding another couple to buy one half the value of the boat and split its usage and expenses? What do we look out for aside from the requisite experience? Any successful agreements or contracts out there you might be willing to share? Horror stories? Your advice is appreciated.
