Canadian Boat - Selling in US

anyone know what to do about a canadian registered boat that's on a yearly cruising permit in the US, florida that needs to be listed for sale? idea is not to pay the florida tax...

Do the delivery off-shore. I think the boat cannot come back to Florida, but it can enter another state.

Now, I may be all wet on this, but I think that is what they are doing in California if I remember another thread correctly.

Yes. I did hear that. Does fl not stipulate that you must pay 6% just for the pleasure of listing a foreign flag boat?
