Boat Insurance in Mexico

Where would a Canadian buy full sailboat coverage for his boat in Mexico?
Thanks

Lewis and Lewis - The Best Mexican Auto Insurance

Many of us in Mexico use these guys for boats and houses and cars. They are easy to deal with.

I have a policy with Markel, they seem to be okay in Mexico.

There are two policies you need for Mexico:
1. Hull Insurance (Markel, Ace and a number of other companies we write with will do that)
2. Mexican Liability Insurance - this is liability coverage through a Mexican owned company. We are associated with just such a company that will provide this coverage. Some cruisers don't bother with it, others do. They is a law in Mexico that says you have to have it, and the penalties can be stiff, but enforcement is erratic.

If you're interested in quotes for either, just send me an e-mail.
Best Regards,
