Bimini/Dodger Cost

Just to save some time getting bids :-)

Anyone have a ballpark for what a fresh set of canvas should run for a 40' aft cockpit mono?

Bimini, Center Panel, Dodger and Mainsail Cover?

Boat in South Florida. Have one bid just over 5k.

Thanks all!

Re: Bimini/Dodger Cost

If they're going to do a nice job, 5k is reasonable.

Sounds about right. Does this include the stainless? Might go higher.

Dodger about 2.5K Bimini about the same. Mainsail cover over 1K. Also depends on size of Bimini rails. 1 1/8" ?

Re: Bimini/Dodger Cost

5K for a 1st rate job is very reasonable. We just did our 34 footer last year before we sold it. @ $3700 for the new dodger and pedestal cover, which included a small bit of extra steel work, and $950 for the sail cover. I actually bought the sail cover through a local shop and had the canvas guy modify it slightly and install it.

Most of the prices I've heard around here (PNW) are in the 5K to 8K range for what you are after. Depends a lot on any extra work being done.

Bimini/Dodger Cost

$5,600 for complete job, not including sail bag, but does have sectioned cockpit cushions and two small helm seat cushions. Installed on Jeanneau 349. Two sail view windows. Note that the dodger is technically a small bimini. Think of dodger with no glass.Click image for larger version
