Benneteau First 435

I have come upon a 1985 Benneteau First 435 for sale. She has been upgraded in electronics (2008) and has a water maker that hasn´t been used yet. She seems well kept but the owner told me she has gone some structural modifications. Her keel has been alongated and her rudder cut short to match the depth of her fin keel when up. I would like any of the friends comments or any insights you can give me on this boat before making a decision to buy her. The price agreed upon as this stage prior to survey is $55,000. What say ye
