Anyone knows who does financing, non US, liveaboards

Hi!

I have been searching for a while, but my google-** seems to be weak these days.

My SO and I are planning to buy a boat next year. With our budget we should be able to get something but I'd feel more at ease if we had some more wiggle room. So we are thinking about financing part of it. (Something like 50% would be our money, the rest we'd borrow).

The plan is to pay it off in 1-2 years max.

We would be without residence, her with a French and Canadian passport, me with a German, cruising in the Meds (and eventually across the Atlantic in a year or two)

The problem is that I haven't found a bank (or whatever) that seems to be doing that.

I would have no problem getting a consumer loan here in Canada where I live right now, as my credit rating is excellent... except that I am not a resident, which bars me from that.

Any pointers?

Ok, I see a few views but no one that can help. Is one of the parameters wrong? I am worried that being a live aboard/not having a residence might be a problem.
