39 VS 41 Costs

OK, I am close to pulling the plug and buying a blue water boat. At present I have both a 39' and a 41' sailing vessel in mind. Other than the obvious 2' difference that I may be charged for slip fees, etc, are there any other major differences marinas and countries charge for a boat slightlhy under 40' and slightly over 40'? At present I am talking the East Coast of the US of A, Mexico, and the islands of the Carribean. Any thoughs & tips from you are most valuable.

Re: 39 VS 41 Costs

I had a 39' boat and now have a 43' LOA boat. Other than the extra costs for winter storage I haven't seen any other cost differences.
stop blowing smoke up my rear, blow it at the sails instead
