Wind and weather website

A website I find handy has just expanded - this from their homepage at www.xcweather.co.uk Fair winds!

An American version of XCWeather is now available at WindMapper.com providing all the useful information found here on XCW to our cousins in the USA. If you know anyone who might find WindMapper.com useful, please consider letting them know. Forums for sailing, wind surfing, kite flying and the like would be ideal candidates but a quick email to anyone who needs to know which way the wind blows would be most appreciated.

Be sure to double click on the arrow nearest your area - this will give you 5-6 days of good wind, temp and conditions forecasting . . . .

Mick, hello from Crosshaven. I agree on Wind Map - Britain, it's a great site. A very useful site I came across lately is GRIB.US > Home It requires a download of the grib reader, but the data available is superb.

Some other good Weather sites:
Marine Weather: Fastnet | Wind Charts
Meteosail: Europe: current situattion:
Wetter : Wetterzentrale : Top Karten : Prognose - GFS Europa
On the wetterzentrale Top Karten page, select 10m Wind and Bob's your uncle.

fair winds (no shortage of those here today!)

kesey

That is "awesome."

I also like SailFlow, but it is by subscription.
