Video Lessons for Beginners
I just came across this fantastic free video sailing lessons resource:
How to Sail a Boat | Expert Village Videos How to Sail | Expert Village Videos If anyone else has other similar resources, I'd be interested in seeing them. Cheers.

Instructional Videos
John Rousmaniere, the author of Annapolis Book of Seamanship, has 5 instructional DVDs available. They cover cruising under sail, heavy weather seamanship, safety at sea, navigation, and daysailors. I've watched the first two, and found them to be well-put together, basic introductions for beginners and good refreshers for those with more sailing experience.
