Video Lessons for Beginners

I just came across this fantastic free video sailing lessons resource:

How to Sail a Boat | Expert Village Videos
How to Sail | Expert Village Videos

If anyone else has other similar resources, I'd be interested in seeing them. Cheers.

Most of us hold the dream of becoming something better than we are, something larger, richer, in some way more important to the world and ourselves. Too often, the way taken is the wrong way, with too much emphasis on what we want to have, rather than what we wish to become." - Louis L'Amour, Education of a Wandering Man

Instructional Videos

John Rousmaniere, the author of Annapolis Book of Seamanship, has 5 instructional DVDs available. They cover cruising under sail, heavy weather seamanship, safety at sea, navigation, and daysailors. I've watched the first two, and found them to be well-put together, basic introductions for beginners and good refreshers for those with more sailing experience.
