To Tahiti With An All Girl Crew
I ran across this on Sailfeed. It's about Lee Quinn and his sometimes wife Mary Ann. She now has a book out. I think I'll get it. Really interesting life.

Re: To Tahiti With An All Girl Crew
Those two pictures could start another mono/multi debate!
BTW, in the first picture, are they drowning the guy in the water? That would be my fear with an all-girl crew…

I have to agree with both of You
I also think I can find some arguments quite useful in such mono/multi debate

Re: To Tahiti With An All Girl Crew
The skipper of Westsail 32 Satori had to abandon his boat when his all girl crew panicked and called the CG in the 'Perfect Storm'. Boat survived just fine, they put themselves and the CG hello crew in great danger.
Remember that guy sailing around the Pacific. Think he came through Oahu and made the local papers when I was stationed there in the Navy. It was quite a novelty at the time.

Re: To Tahiti With An All Girl Crew
Wifey B: While we're not sailors, there have been many trips to Miami or West Palm or just around Fort Lauderdale with my hubby, myself, and two to four girls. All the females in skimpy bikinis. Not once has he ever complained or seemed to mind. And yes, it's with my full encouragement.
As to sailing and so many all male crews then why not a few all girl crews.

Here's the caption from that pic
Lee Quinn’s crew receives a package of ice cream from a U.S. Navy warship while underway in 1963
I'll be the sailors on that navy boat had a fun on that day.
