SNEAK PREVIEW OF NEW COASTAL PASSAGE

Not in print untill tomorrow but on the web site now. I got tired of proof reading and said to hell with it! How about YOU look at it and let me know if you find a screw up! I'll fix it before it's printed. I'll buy you a beer if you come to collect it. Tell me what you think about
"GUNS AND BANDITS" A TRUE STORY! Alan Lucas tells all about those much hated multuhulls, and Catherine Connolly tells a funny tale of dismasting off Corpus christi. The truth after 30 years!! The Airlie Beach fun Race was started by a race of two boats and one always accused the other of motoring and now the truth! This is the race that is customary for the women to bare their breasts to be the figurehead and how the custom all began and more!

see www.thecoastalpassage.com/recent_issues.html
I'm gonna go have a beer!

Cheers

Hey skipper K, thanks for that but you are too easy! I know there has to be something. so I'm up at 5:30 AM to go over the files "one more Time".... I'll make a few changes which means my K will have to re-do the PDF's for pre press and reprint the pages etc.... and then I'll get TORN away from the puter and FORCED to drive the 3 hours to Mackay to drop off the discs. Then tomorrrow we will look through the thing and there WILL BE at least one rotten little stuff-up..
Cheers

Was Not Able to read all

Page 4MV "Burigan"
TAFE, where hundreds of
students intent of learning a trade as {a}
Coxswain or Master, trod her decks under

The Rolls Royce 126klw {126kw}

and we steamed out of Mooloolaba mid morning
of 30th April.
We made Bundy just after dark on April 1,} (check your dates)

{Autopilot gave up the ghost so we named
it “Gary”
Garry took the helm.} (is this the same Gary)

I knew they were in there....

Hey Wukong.... I owe a beer or ten.

Were you not able to read all due to technical difficulty?

yup, the dates were screwed up. I'm sure Bob meant March 1st. He will be flogged.. or worse.

And yes Gary of the helm is also the victim of the insult.
and klw would be an unusual way to abreviate kilowatt...

and this story is from a professional! (although retired)

I've spotted a couple more as well.(other features)..but I think i'll keep em to myself for now!

No matter how hard I try, a few get by. you should have seen the early editions!
Thanks for giving the paper a go-over.

For your effort ... and punishment send me a mail address if you like, and I'll send you a paper copy. my email is tcp@matilda.net.au

Cheers

Bob
