This is great. Just the perfect information I'd like to know to what I'd like to do shortly.

Re: Single Handed Tips

Thanks for the link. Makes me really want to get out there again.

How many singlehanders are there on here?

Might be time to read "the long way" by Moitessier. yet again. Though it's not there on the shelf so I must have given it away yet again.
The Long Way - Google Books

The section on hallucinations was interesting, I've always felt left out not having any!

Re: Singlehanded Tips - Good Reading

Have you read 'Little Boat Big Ocean' by Alan Rush? A highly recommended read about his single-handed crossing of the Pacific in a 21-foot boat back in 1979. Beautifully written considering it was taken from his original hand-written sailing log and he would have had to write in difficult conditions. It has some great colour photos too and also describes his time running coconut plantations for 6 years on the Gilbert Islands. I would highly recommend this for all sailors not just single-handers. Available on Amazon.
