Question Marine Weather Forecasting Reference

Searched this thread but didn't find many recommendations. Is there one or more "must-have" reference books on marine weather forecasting?

Here's a really good weather book: Amazon.com: Mariner's Weather Handbook: Steve Dashew, Linda Dashew: Books , but OUCH! jeez, it's almost a "boat buck"!

The Pardey's recommend this book in theirs, $8.95, Instant Weather Forecasting
by Alan Watts, "24-photograph color guide to forecasting the weather in the hours ahead and what likely trends are in the offing. Simple scientific introduction explains how to use the pictures, while the forecasts are set out on the facing pages. A classic."

I searched B&N and found a new title by the same author: "Instant Storm Forecasting" due for release March 1, 2009.

You can find the Instant Weather Forecasting by Alan Watts book on the Pardey website at:
Sailing with Lin & Larry Pardey
Then click "Weather" in the l=eft hand menu near the bottom.

Send a message via Yahoo to SV Someday Came
Have these two: Amazon.com: International Marine's Weather Predicting Simplified: How to Read Weather Charts and Satellite Images: Michael Carr: Books

and

Amazon.com: An Introduction to Satellite Image Interpretation: Eric D. Conway: Books

in my library.

Amazon.com: eric sloane's weather book: Books

Written in the 50's and wonderfully illustrated. They helped form the basis of my understanding of the weather. They are a true bargain for a sailor wishing to under strand the wind and weather.
