iPhone Applications

Does anyone know of some good iPhone applications? I found a couple but I'm looking for some helpful ones for wind and navigation and just helpful in general for a beginner. Thanks!

Search this site for iPhone and sailnet dot com lots of good apps. My favorite is the Navionics nav w/charts it has most of the features of my E120 RM ($5k) and it only cost me $49 when I bought it and now its less than 10. I am not related to RM or Navionics in any way. V49

I am using the iNavX program with good results right now. It's a bit pricey at $49 but all of the NOAA charts are free downloads after that.

Thanks so much for all the input. I was looking at navionics but for a while they didn't have the US West Coast application. I noticed it just came back today, probably the update. I'm also looking for a good wind direction application, I found wind alert, but not all the areas are available on the free version. It says u need to purchase the full version, but I can't find the full version. It doesn't make sense. I'll also look more into the iNAVx.

Checklist Checklists should work on iPhone and most other web enabled devices.

velero thank you for your input, but we're not a vendor. Like many many of those posting here we have a website. Unlike many, there is no advertising, nothing to buy, nothing to sell, no Google ads, not a revenue stream. Just a couple who enjoy helping those that want to learn to sail.

Well! Of All The Nerve! Doing something just for the enjoyment of doing it. Be careful it could be habit forming.

Thanks you guys for the input. I really like the Navionics Application. I'm trying to find a good wind application. I have Buoy Data and Wind Alert, but they are not getting as much info here in California. I've looked at some surf applications, but I'm hesitant to buy any more applications unless I know it is helpful. Any recommendations?

Thanks
