I just wanted to turn on anyone who hasn't heard this series of interviews from the couple who run (the now defunct) FurledSails.com podcast.

They have interviewed some of modern sailings greatest, most interesting, enigmatic, and adventurous folks as well as some everyday people involved in sailing. The interviewers manage to tease out great stories, they're interviewing skills aside (they're just everyday folks after all). There are over 100 interviews and I've found most of them very enjoyable.

I really enjoyed them as well. They have a good easy style with the guests. Well worth listening to. Thanks for reminding me of them. Got to listen to them all again! Especially the Bolger and Sven Lunden ones.

I've downloaded the interviews with John Guzzwell, who has always struck me as the most admirable of the breed, and I greatly look forward to listening.

Lucky you Andrew... Ive already listened to them all, I especially enjoyed the Phil Bolger, and Sven Yrvind (lundin) because they are so unconventional and free thinking in their approach to life and boats and are both very deep thinkers, but many other fantastic stories in there. Look for

Funnily enough, Marvin is how I came to find this podcast. I had no idea that all through my youth, I played street hockey in front of Marvin's house. I grew up a block away from the man and always just knew of him as "The captain". When I got involved in sailing, my folks got me his Voyage of the Globestar for my 31st birthday and there was the podcast.
