Just thought I would post this link to a useful academic resource compiled by John Levingston, a Sydney AUSTRALIA Barrister and Lecturer who I studied Maritime Law under at the University of Newcastle.

The good thing is a lot of these laws apply uniformly across the seas, so the resource will be useful to those outside of Australia.

It’s not sailing dedicated, but at the least you might find some useful information about how to arrest your boat after someone has absconded with it!
