I know first hand what it is like dealing Pat Never monday. I found him to be a strait shooter.

I'll second irwinsailor's recommendation of Pat and Inland Marinie Diesel.

I sailed a delivery with Pat and was quite impressed with his extensive knowledge of boats, their systems, and his mechanical ability. He quickly took charge of the boat's preparation and the few mechanical problems we had enroute. I'd use Pat anytime.

Pat, quick question. All the big Westerbekes are off the market. Rumor is they did not meet emissions? We recently installed a W108 at a very good price. I did not understand the discount at the time but now think it is because they knew the engine could not be sold when the standards changed and they needed to burn inventory.

Mind you, I'm not complaining, we love the engine.

That matches what I've been told. I wouldn't worry. It will be supported for many years to come.

What about the Century series? We just last year installed a 120-T4A...

I was wondering about the gap between the 70hp 71C4 and my 120-T4A...

I hung out with Pat yesterday and he gave me a personal hands-on class on my Yanmar diesel engine...showed me all the pertinent things I should know....explained how everything worked and what I should look for with everything....it was an outstanding effort and has saved me both hours and hours of RTFM study as well as making any potentially expensive mistakes. I can't say enough how good he was at explaining stuff in a way that anyone could understand and how thorough he was...very professional but very relaxed as well....Many Thanks Pat!!!

Hi Pat, I can not personally use your service now ( I have an old Atomic 4 gasoline engine) and I don't have the money to repower, but if I ever need a diesel engine I would call you first. I want to thank you for your input into this forum.

The Century Series are great! built on Isuzu engines.
Will Westerbeke return to the 75-150hp market. I can't read their minds, but I'd have to say they would.

Thanks for all the accolades guys.
