Lewmar Ocean Hatches, Never had a leak....

Ram,
While I suspect that some of my good fortune is due to excellent installation, I've been quite happily surprised by my Lewmar Ocean Series Hatches.....

They're very strong and secure....
And mine are now almost 11 years old (and have a bit of crazing on the acrylic), but are easy to open, close, and lock.....
But, best of all, they've never leaked one single drop.....

I have two large Lewmar Ocean hatches on the foredeck (one foreward of the mast on the low cabin top, and one sloping to the foredeck, just about 5' aft of the anchor windlass), and they've seen their share of green water, from not only a few Atlantic crossings and a few days sailing thru a tropical storm, but also from 3 direct hits from Cat 3 Hurricanes (Frances, Jeanne, and Wilma), and a few glaning blows from 3 other hurricanes.....

I also have 2 large (and 2 smaller) Lewmar Ocean hatches on the cabin top, aft of the mast......(and more aft)...and all are great....

As for where to buy them????
Mine came with my boat from the factory, so I cannot answer that part.....
But, I can say that I've been very impressed with them....

I hope this helps...

John
