Surveyor in New Caledonia

Can anyone recommend a trustworthy and thorough surveyor in New Caledonia? If you have recommendations for specialists like a rigger, engine mechanic, fiberglasser, etc., that would also be of great use. Thanks in advance for all the help!

No, I don't. Maybe someone else does.

However, if i were going to have major work done on a boat, I'd seriously consider NZ, or Australia. Unless you are truly bilingual, fluent in French that is up to date, there are countless pitfalls, even though everyone has the best of intentions.

Thank you, Ann. I'm really only looking for a surveyor as I'm hoping to purchase a vessel already there. She seems to be in good shape (but I want the surveyor's opinion first). As turns out, we may have to leave her there for the cyclone season. My initial reaction is terror, but maybe there are some good, safe marinas?

Anyone have thoughts on New Caledonia...surveyor, marina, or otherwise?
