Submersible Flashlight - Which One?

I don't have a submersible flashlight but would like one on board in case I had to go under the boat to cut away some line, net, etc. in the dark.

I'm thinking maybe this one which is good for deeper than I'd need to go:

For the task you describe, I'd look for a waterproof head light so you can have both hands free. I don't have personal experience with one, but there are several head mounted dive lights on the market.

go to Leisure Pro and get an approproate LED dive light. The cost may even be less than WM or other marine parts stores and is made for great depths. Our dive lights are rated 500 ft and were not super-expensive. Get on their list and receive regular clearance specials.

One of my hobbies is cave diving, I've got lights out the wazoo, everything from a 50W HID to handheld backup lights, I've got two backups mounted on my helmet for doing things hands free like tieing into the mainline, surveying etc. Helmet mounting is probably ore than you want to do so I'd suggest a mask light.
Look at the "mini light" on this page it's good for mounting on a mask strap, I have to assume you would be wearing a mask, wouldn't you? If you could find a waterproof headlight, not so sure how that would work with a mask. I would stay away from leisure pro, it's sort of like Walmart.

This is an excellent 1000 Lumens tiny light, but it takes an 18650 Li-Ion battery. Battery is rechargeable and the light comes with both the battery and a charger. Li-Ion batteries have a higher self discharge rate than disposable batteries, so they aren't as good for throwing in a drawer and being charged two years later when you need them. This light is a little over $100 also.

I like a Streamlight that I bought a year ago for a pocket flashlight. It has 2 levels of red LED as well as a bright white light. It seems to be real durable and the batteries lasted 1 year with intermittent use. The downside is that it takes an unusual battery.
