Silent Wind Generator & Kyocera Solar Panels

I wanted to pass along this info because I know that when doing research it would have been nice information.

I am happy to say that we now have solar and wind power aboard s/v Bosco! It took all of about a month to wrap up the entire project. We found a hybrid kit from eMarine Systems that had all-inclusive materials, cables, remotes and the wind gen/solar panels. We went with 2 Kyocera solar panels, each 140 Watts. And the Silent Wind Generator. This is a newer gen. than the Air Breeze, which is the one we were going to go with, but this one seemed to fit more of our requirements. It is definitely quiet compared to some of the others we've heard on other boats.
